This posting announcement is part of increased transparency and while all qualified applicants will be reviewed and considered, this organization has a preferred candidate identified for this role.
Your Opportunity
At Schwab, you're empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the finance industry together.
We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
The AI Product Enablement and Experience team is focused on using AI to create more personalized, proactive, and useful digital experiences for Schwab clients. This role will provide program leadership for Portfolio Insights, Schwab's first client-facing Generative AI feature, and the expansion of AI-powered experiences across Schwab.com, the Schwab Mobile App, and Schwab Assistant.
You will establish the planning and operating discipline required to move complex, cross-functional work from intake through delivery. The role will coordinate roadmaps, sequencing, dependencies, risks, governance, capacity, and readiness across product, design, AI, engineering, technology, risk, compliance, legal, and business teams.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who can bring structure to ambiguity, anticipate issues, connect work across organizations, and keep teams focused on shared outcomes. Success requires strong judgment, organization, follow-through, and the ability to drive progress without direct authority.
Responsibilities
Program Planning and Execution
Lead integrated planning for Insights and related AI-powered experiences across web, mobile, and Schwab Assistant (Charley).
Translate product roadmaps into coordinated program plans with clear milestones, owners, dependencies, decisions, and delivery checkpoints.
Establish and maintain a reliable operating rhythm across active workstreams, including planning, status reviews, decision forums, and leadership updates.
Track progress against commitments and help teams adjust plans when priorities, capacity, or dependencies change.
Intake, Prioritization and Sequencing
Manage intake and sequencing across AI experience initiatives, platform work, and partner-team requests.
Help product leaders evaluate readiness, capacity, dependencies, and timing before work enters delivery.
Maintain a consolidated view of the roadmap and ensure teams understand what is next, what is blocked, and what decisions are required.
Support quarterly planning, resource discussions, and tradeoff decisions across the portfolio.
Cross-Team Delivery and Dependency Management
Coordinate delivery across product, design, AI, engineering, data, content, CET, risk, compliance, legal, research, and analytics partners.
Serve as a central coordination point for CET and external technology partners supporting web, mobile, platform, and integration work.
Coordinate with Sierra and Schwab Assistant teams on sequencing, requirements, dependencies, testing, and delivery timing.
Identify cross-team gaps early and drive clear ownership, escalation, and resolution.
Risk, Governance and Readiness
Own program-level risk, issue, action, and dependency tracking across active initiatives.
Coordinate governance activities, required reviews, controls, disclosures, documentation, and launch-readiness checkpoints.
Partner with product and risk leaders to ensure open decisions and delivery risks are visible and addressed at the right level.
Support release readiness, implementation planning, and post-launch follow-through.
Leadership Communication and Program Transparency
Create concise, executive-ready updates that communicate progress, outcomes, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions needed.
Maintain clear program documentation, roadmaps, status views, decision logs, and ownership models.
Provide stakeholders with a consistent view of priorities, timing, dependencies, and program health.
Help teams spend less time reconciling information and more time making decisions and delivering outcomes.
What You Care About
Creating structure and momentum across complex, cross-functional programs.
Helping product and delivery teams reach measurable client and business outcomes.
Anticipating risk, dependencies, and capacity constraints before they affect delivery.
Making ownership, sequencing, decisions, and next steps clear.
Building strong partnerships across product, technology, AI, risk, and business teams.
Improving how teams plan, communicate, govern, and execute work.
Balancing speed with quality, compliance, and launch readiness.
