Schwab’s Workplace Services (WS) team is responsible for serving client needs across our Retirement Plan Services (RPS), Stock Plan Services (SPS) and Designated Brokerage services for corporations and their employees. The Senior Digital Product Manager (People Leader) will be responsible for leading a team of Product Owners delivering SPS digital solutions for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the coordination and delivery of business and technology projects to support the SPS product suite and set the priorities against the product roadmap in alignment with broader SPS product strategy.
What you’ll do:
- Lead a high-performing team of product owners and their associated technology teams in the development and modernization of Schwab’s proprietary equity administration applications that support our corporate clients and internal Schwab stakeholders / administrators.
- Collaborate with senior members of the Product and Technology Teams to establish strategy and objectives about how to execute against the broader business vision.
- Manage and mentor your team to help them achieve client-oriented outcomes in line with this vision.
- Foster collaborative discovery sessions to engage clients and internal stakeholders as your teams Identify opportunities to develop and implement scalable solutions and process improvements.
- Coordinate with PR, marketing, and field enablement teams to help manage product launches, enhancements, and communications.
- Provide leadership status updates of your team’s progress and capacity as they execute against their objectives and achieve outcomes.
- Provide oversight and guidance for production support triage and issues.
What you have

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years product management experience.
- 3+ years leading teams, with a demonstrated record of achieving process improvement and client outcomes.
- Strong analytic, decision making and project management abilities.
- Team player with ability to foster collaboration, evaluate perspectives, and influence where necessary to gain support.
- Ability to guide product development including the ability to define processes and provide direction and requirements to synthesize data into insights and actions.
- Superior technical and business communication skills, able to communicate complex messages and trade-offs and create a compelling story.
- Undergraduate degree or commensurate work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services including familiarity with equity compensation plan recordkeeping, administration, and related operations.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified Equity Professional.
