Shift details: Monday-Friday 12:30pm-9pm CT
The CS&S Participant Services (RPS) Manager leads a team of individuals who provide a consultative service for our retirement plan participants. Reinforcing and promoting our edge model as a framework, this role helps to serve Schwab’s greater purpose to help everyone become financially fit and create loyal client relationships.
As a Team Manager in CS&S Participant Services - RPS, you will pursue our mission and values through:
- Leading a team of approximately 12 professionals who provide a consultative service to meet the needs of our participants.
- Developing team members through coaching, career development mentoring, and motivational techniques.
- Assessing and resolving escalated participant issues at a moment’s notice.
- Providing creative ideas and solutions that will benefit the business and set the strategic direction of the department.
- Anticipating potential risk issues while presenting and implementing proactive solutions.
- Working collaboratively with other managers and leadership in cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
What you have
Required qualifications:
- Series 7 & Series 63
- 9 & 10 licenses requires but can be COE
- Experience coaching and leading in BetterWay to Excellence framework
- The ability to embrace change and innovate within the edge conversation model with a focus on Brilliant Basics
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong team orientation, fostering recognition and engagement
- Flexibility with regard to shift
Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years of people leadership experience in a customer service focused financial services inbound center
- Experience mentoring and coaching employees to achieve and exceed performance standards
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing priorities within the established deadlines
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
