Your Opportunity:
The purpose of the Asset & Account Maintenance team within Trust and Custody Services is to own the setup and
maintenance of company sponsored retirement plans requested through the Retirement Business Services and
Retirement Plan Services channels. A successful candidate will help the manager lead the team to meet the goals of the
business on daily functions and projects. With the opportunity to review and enhance processes, you have the ability to

What you’ll do:
The Account and Asset Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for supporting management in the performance and
monitoring of daily operations, with a focus on Account Opening, Document Management, Asset Maintenance, and
various tasks associated with opening, maintaining, and supporting a retirement plan. The Team Lead is responsible for
handling escalations from various business partners including client facing representatives. They will support process
improvement projects to increase operational efficiency, improve client experience, and manage risk. In addition, the
Team Lead will also ensure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, support numerous regulatory audits, and
works closely with internal risk teams to close process gaps and improve the control environment. The person in this
role will be expected to have great communication and presentation skills, as they will be interacting with a large team
and many internal groups across the firm. We are seeking a self-starter that likes working in a high paced back office
environment, with heavy emphasis on operational processing.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years back office operations experience; knowledge of the retirement industry preferred
• Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with Schwab’s product functionality and Schwab’s Bank systems and interfaces preferred
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills.
• Strong data management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Strong change management skills
• Ability to influence others through the development of strong working relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
