As a Java Developer, you provide guidance on the development and maintenance of the award-winning thinkorswim platforms. You'll work on a team of engineers on one of the most sophisticated trading platforms in the world, built on a codebase constantly updated with the latest industry standards, collaborating with UX/design, business, and technology partners across the enterprise.
1. Develop and maintain the thinkorswim trading platforms — build and enhance features on the thinkorswim Services Gateway using Java/J2EE (client and server side).
2. Engineer high-performance, real-time trading systems — apply concurrency, multi-threading, and distributed/messaging design to support high-transaction desktop trading.
3. Deliver quality through agile, test-driven development — write and maintain tests and use build/deploy automation (Gradle, Maven, TeamCity, JUnit) to ship reliable code.
4. Collaborate across teams and design APIs/frameworks — partner with UX/design, business, and technology partners to develop reusable APIs, frameworks, and core business logic.
