Client Tax & Cost Basis Operations is a part of the Custody & Asset Services division of Operational Services. We are dedicated to leading a culture that delivers timely and accurate tax reporting in our efforts to create a premier client experience, while providing a controlled and disciplined environment that allows our employees to feel valued and engaged. As part of this mission, the Sr. Specialist plays a critical role by engaging our business partners and serving our clients at the highest level.
What you'll do:
- Manage MyQ workflows for incoming Premium requests
- Provide regular updates regarding SLAs and trends
- Develop job aids
- Maintain tax database for accurate tax form reporting
- Create and maintain process and procedure documents
- Identify efficiency gaps for improvement
- Support various tax form productions
- Lead project initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of tax reporting experience
- 3+ years in the finance industry
- MyQ experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management experience a plus
- Ability to work under pressure in an highly regulated environment while maintaining a high level of positivity and professionalism
- Good decision making and sound judgment skills are a must
- Attention to detail to identify and mitigate risk by adhering to department and firm policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and grow working relationships with internal and external clients
- Identify and communicate issues effectively and timely to peers and leadership
- Ability to multi-task, understand the importance of follow-through
- Have outstanding time management and organization skills
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
