Sr Specialist, SPS Operational Support Team

As a Sr. Specialist within the SPS Operational Support Team, you will be joining a “Second Level” escalation team that serves as primary point of contact for internal and external customers regarding their equity compensation plans with Schwab.
What you will do:
- Will process basic and complex SPS new accounts and account maintenance requests
- Work independently to document and resolve a queue of cases
- Opportunities to support projects that align to departmental and SPS objectives
- Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of own work within established time frames
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Active FINRA Series 7/63 required
- FINRA Series 9/10 required (COE, to be successfully completed within 180 days)
- At least 2 years of brokerage services experience with a preference towards operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- SPS platform experience is preferred.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism and strong work ethic with high level of integrity
- Superior follow-up, along with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to identify and solve complex issues in a team environment working with various levels of management and business partners
- Ability to organize and complete projects
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
