Job Duties: Coordinate, prioritize and communicate across the business product areas. Including building and realizing the strategy for the teams to support the dynamic needs of the WAME business. Build a client driven technology organization. Design and develop software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs. Lead application components of moderate complexity, with guidance from manager. Provide technical design input in overall project. Develop, implement, and maintain DevOps and cloud computing strategies to support business requirements, using defined performance metrics to monitor system reliability, availability, and efficiency. Analyze business and technical requirements and design cloud based application architectures using industry standard technologies, including microservices, APIs, container platforms, serverless computing, and hybrid cloud environments. Coordinate with product owners, engineering teams, and management to plan and communicate technical solutions, ensuring alignment between system design, operational requirements, and service level objectives. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of application components, including performance tuning and troubleshooting, and participate in architecture reviews and cross functional technical discussions. Design, develop, and support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure automation, incorporating testing, security controls, configuration management, and deployment standards across environments. Design and maintain database and cloud governance solutions, including backup and recovery, disaster recovery, data replication, system migrations, and compliance monitoring in accordance with organizational security and regulatory requirements.
What you have
Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation. . Experience must include 60 months of experience involving the following: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and AWS SDKs (Boto3) to support infrastructure operations, including DNS configuration, backup and recovery processes, disaster recovery testing, cross region replication, system health checks, and event driven workflows using AWS Lambda and Step Functions; Build, maintain, and support continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket or GitHub, incorporating automated testing, code quality analysis, security scanning, infrastructure deployment, and application release processes across multiple environments; Implement and support cloud based database systems using AWS RDS and Aurora, including backup and recovery procedures, read replica configuration, data replication, encryption, performance tuning, system migrations, and disaster recovery planning; Design, implement, and maintain messaging and event driven systems using technologies such as Amazon MQ, RabbitMQ, Amazon EventBridge, SNS, and SQS to support asynchronous communication and integration between distributed applications; and Monitor and support system reliability and security by configuring AWS CloudWatch, log aggregation tools, audit logging, alerting, and incident response workflows, and by producing operational and compliance reports in accordance with organizational policies.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
