Sr Specialist - Data Engineering

Job Duties: Design and implement comprehensive data warehouse solutions. Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for maximum efficiency. Translate relational and non-relational data structures into efficient dimensional data models. Execute large-scale data migration projects across multiple data sources. Lead data cleansing initiatives to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Perform comprehensive data validation and quality assurance checks to maintain data integrity. Develop cost-of-concept solutions to eliminate third-party tool dependencies. Implement new solutions that reduce organizational costs. Optimize job performance and resolve critical system issues with precision. Lead end-to-end project delivery from inception to completion. Collaborate with business stakeholders and provide technical guidance to vendor teams. Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables aligned with business objectives. Participate actively in business meetings with product owners. Identify challenges and develop mitigation strategies for potential issues. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Specialize in resolving job performance issues and system bottlenecks. Address critical system issues with urgency, ensuring minimal downtime. Continuously monitor and optimize data pipeline performance.
What you have
Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in a related occupation. . Experience must include 60 months of experience involving the following: Google cloud platform services, DataProc, and Big Query; Real time change data capture with Log Streaming Batch or Direct Streaming; ETL Job and Query Optimization; Unix, Python scripts, and ControlM schedule; Data integration tools Informatica Cloud Services and Talend; QLIK Attunity change capture tool; and MicroSoft SQL server.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
