Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location.

The Sr. Manager, Trader Segment Management will lead projects that advance Trader Segment priorities, with a focus on Trader client experience, relationship models, and other Trader client growth initiatives.

This role combines disciplined project management with strategic problem-solving to develop recommendations, build business cases, and drive execution. Working closely with business leaders and cross-functional partners, they will bring structure to complex initiatives, establish clear accountability, and move work from concept through implementation. They will also assume ongoing business ownership for selected initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • Lead initiatives from definition through execution. Translate business priorities into clear objectives, scope, project plans, milestones, and deliverables. Independently lead selected initiatives while aligning with business sponsors on direction and decisions.
  • Develop business recommendations. Interpret analytical findings, evaluate options and tradeoffs, and build business cases that support informed decisions.
  • Serve as a connector across the Trader ecosystem. Maintain deep engagement with Active Trader Branch, Trader Service, Trading Solutions, and other key stakeholder groups to identify trends, gather insights, validate recommendations, and ensure initiatives reflect the needs of clients and frontline teams.
  • Advance Trader relationship and operating models. Identify gaps, duplication, and unclear ownership across client coverage, specialist roles, and partner handoffs.
  • Drive cross-functional accountability. Align stakeholders on responsibilities and commitments, resolve dependencies, and ensure follow-through.
  • Manage the project portfolio. Maintain visibility into active initiatives, priorities, dependencies, and risks, supporting roadmap development and prioritization.
  • Facilitate leadership decisions. Present findings, recommendations, progress, and risks, and guide discussions toward clear decisions and next steps.
  • Create decision-ready materials. Develop executive presentations, recommendation papers, project plans, and concise status updates.
  • Sustain selected initiatives. Assume ongoing business ownership where assigned, maintaining execution and coordinating improvements as business needs evolve.
