The International Product Initiatives team within Retail’s International Global Business Products and Experiences (GBPE) is responsible for helping define and lead programs and initiatives on behalf of the International business.  The ideal candidate will leverage their innovation, passion for making a difference and building partnerships to help deliver best in class products and experiences to clients residing outside of the US and the professionals that serve them.

Reporting to the Director of International Client Experience, The Senior Manager International Product Initiatives will focus on delivering exceptional experiences by defining business needs, creating requirements, managing international permissibility rules, and delivering high quality solutions.

  • Serves as liaison between the international business and technology teams to assist in execution of strategic deliverables.
  • Leads internationals product and services permissibility rules engine
  • Identifies opportunities to expand internationals tools and data construct to other parts of Schwab to create efficiencies and eliminate redundant processes.
  • Creates business requirements and conducts cross functional meetings to identify synergies and risks to downstream systems and processes when designing solutions.
  • Inform international senior leaders and stakeholders of project progress, issues, and risks.
  • Works with technology partners to ensure project deliverables meet the needs of the business and desired client and rep experiences. 
  • Assists in troubleshooting issues raised by internationals client facing teams impacting client or associate experiences.
  • Adhere to all International project processes and work to refine processes and procedures. 

What you have


Required qualifications: 

  • 5 years of financial services experience
  • 5 years working with data tables and ability to extract data via queries
  • Experience leading complex projects either as a project or product manager and proven ability to create detailed requirements and design documents
  • Proven track record of delivering technology solutions that solve business problems
  • Candidate must have experience managing financial products for customers that reside outside of the US

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • Comfortable leading calls and giving presentations to large groups and levels within the organization
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to negotiate and the ability to de-escalate conflicts
  • PMP or Lean certification highly desired

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
