The Franchise Branch Network (FBN) is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Senior Manager, Franchise Governance & Development, to help advance the long-term success and continued evolution of Schwab’s franchise business. This role will serve as a key connector across franchise strategy, franchisee experience, and franchisor governance.

The Senior Manager will support the enforcement of franchise standards, disclosure obligations, contractual requirements, Operating Manual standards, brand and client-experience expectations, and risk controls that govern the franchisor–franchisee relationship. The role will also support the franchise rights-transition lifecycle, including exit planning, succession, transfers, and branch valuation support. Working closely with FBN leadership, Franchise Business Owners (FBOs), and cross-functional partners, this individual will help identify opportunities, advance franchise priorities, and ensure disciplined execution with appropriate franchisor oversight.

This role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional influence, operational discipline, project management, strong written communication skills, and a deep understanding of the franchisor–franchisee relationship.

  • Business Insight and Analysis – Uses data, performance trends, feedback, and business context to develop insights and recommendations.
  • Entrepreneurial OrientationIdentifies opportunities, brings creative solutions, and supports entrepreneurial thinking within a structured franchisor environment.
  • Operational Discipline – Manages multiple priorities, organizes complex work, documents decisions, and ensures timely follow-through.
  • Brand Stewardship – Represents Schwab and the Franchise Branch Network with professionalism, consistency, and strong judgment in all interactions.

What you have


To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, business strategy, franchisor operations, business development, program management, project management, or related roles.
  • Experience working with business owners, advisors, franchisees, sales leaders, or other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, execution, and content-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information and develop clear, actionable
  • Strong judgment and ability to balance business growth, client experience, operational requirements, regulatory expectations, and franchise model considerations.
  • Commitment to integrity, accountability, continuous improvement, and responsible risk management.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with internal partners and external stakeholders.

Education, Licenses, and Designations

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Preferred: active and valid Series 7, 66, 9/10, and 24 licenses.
  • Preferred: CEPA, CFE, CFP, and/or AAMS designations.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
