The Financial Solutions Branch (FSB) is part of theWealth and Centralized Solutions(WCS) organization in the Investor Services Branch Network. FSB provides a high-scalerelationship modelresponsible for serving Mass Affluent investors.

TheFSBMI Teamis an extension of the Branch Network andprovides guidance to MI Team-assigned clients thatare <$500k and are invested in a Managed Solutions product.  Each client assigned tothe FSB MI Teamis supported through a team approach who is supported by a team of financial professionalscalled Portfolio Solutions Consultant (PSC). 

This position is leading a team of specialists who provide guidance to clients over the phone. OurPSCspartner with clients to understand their goals, wishes, and concerns so that they can successfullyplan fortheir financial futures. As aSr.Manager you will lead a team ofPSCstoprovidean exceptionaladviceand salesexperience focused on the retention and engagement of clients interested in or invested ina managed investing offer at Schwab.

Your typical day would include sales coaching and sales process management, development of team with effective training and performance management, analysis of performance data for trends and actions, interviewing prospective employees, collaborating with business partners sharing of the best methods and performing the compliance and administrative tasks inherent in our industry.

What you have


To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

RequiredQualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent work-related experience 
  • Active and valid Series 7 license required
  • Active and valid Series 66 (63/65) license required(may be obtained within a 120-day condition of employment)  
  • Active and valid Series 9/10 license required(may be obtained within a 120-day condition of employment)  
  • Active and valid Life and Health Insurance license (may be obtained within a 120-day condition of employment)  
  • Strong leadership, management, and motivational skills  
  • A desire to lead, a passion foradvice andsales management, and a deep commitment to client service  
  • Proficient in establishing quality cross-enterprise partnerships 
  • Track record of success inadvice,sales and/oradvice andsales leadership 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
  • Excellent organizational skills to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items
  • Data-curious, and leverages business results to help drive outcomes
  • Effective change agent who can thoughtfully championnew ideas, and coach partners to recognize the benefits and adopt change for themselves
  • Never satisfied with the status quo,seeks,and implements recommendations for continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years financial sales and/or leadership experience preferred
  • CFP, CFA, and/or CIMA preferred 

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
