The Advisor Services division supports registered investment advisors (RIAs) with custody, trading, technology and practice management tools. Schwab is the leading provider of custody services in the RIA marketplace serving over 16,000 RIA businesses managing over $4 trillion of assets at Schwab.  The Advisor Core Digital Solutions team within Advisor Services leads digital product development and B2B technology strategy for our Schwab Advisor Center (SAC) platform, third-party developer API offerings, and internal rep platforms. 

We are looking for Senior Digital Product Manager (individual contributor) to join the SAC Account Management Team, delivering client experiences that delight advisors on the Schwab Advisor Center (SAC) platform. This role will lead a scrum team focused on improving the online experience for advisors and requires strong end‑to‑end planning and execution skills to successfully bring new features to market.

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Manager, Digital Product Management on this team, you will be responsible for implementing AI solutions aimed at improving our digital workflows to promote adoption and support independent advisors along with their clients.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with business stakeholders, engineers, and UX teams to translate AI opportunities into actionable product requirements and user stories.
  • Drive the evaluation, and implementation of Generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation use cases, defining success metrics and ensuring measurable business impact that drive digital adoption.
  • Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general. Able to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage.
  • Contribute to key Agile ceremonies: Program Increment (PI) Planning / Big Room Planning; System Demo; Inspect and Adapt (I&A), etc.
  • Lead product discovery and requirements definition, driving production ready epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and refinement artifacts
  • Partner with GTM teams to support advisor readiness, change management, training materials, early access programs, and communications
  • Prioritize high impact work for the engineering team and keep development work on track
  • Drive problem solving, accountability, and resolutions in production support situations; recommend future enhancements
  • Partner with Risk/Legal/Compliance and Service/Ops to ensure controls are embedded throughout the product lifecycle
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and drive corrective action plans
  • Build presentations to communicate findings or lay out plans and ideas for stakeholder input and review; utilize your persuasive presentation skills

What you have


  • 5+ years of Digital Product management product development expereince
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Expertise in AI-first product thinking, including the definition of generative AI and intelligent automation experiences, and a genuine enthusiasm for leveraging AI to reimagine workflows, decision-making, and customer engagement
  • Analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skills
  • An agile mindset - An expert in agile methodologies for software development (e.g., writing user stories, acceptance criteria and facilitating scrum activities)
  • Ability to synthesize data into insights, make recommendations and create a plan to deliver product strategies
  • Advanced technology acumen, including an understanding of how software products are made, familiarity with architectures, languages, and build cycles
  • Project management - Able to juggle multiple priorities, drive progress and accountability across multiple stakeholders; Strong self-management to move work forward without prescriptive leadership guidance
  • Communication and presentation skills - Adept at PowerPoint, good at framing and telling a logical story, strong verbal and written communication - for executive audience, tech partners, operations, etc.
  • Strong relationship-management skills – Able to foster connections across different parts of the organization to drive a well-rounded implementation strategy
  • Ability to make decisions and progress in the face of ambiguity
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to successfully implement strategic ideas
  • A ‘can do’, results-oriented approach to business
  • Attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including effectively creating highly effective PowerPoint presentations and presenting to senior leadership
  • Financial Services industry experience preferred

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
