The SeniorProductManager will work across a wide range of stakeholders to optimize ourexperiencesandproducts. The SeniorProductManager will play a critical role in productstrategy,discovery,design, client experience,roadmapdevelopment,feature prioritization,deliveryalignment andrisk management. This role will be supporting the team in building scalable products and innovating to drive optimized experiences. Cross-enterprise leadership and influencearecrucial to the success of this role. 

This isarolewithin Client Reporting andresponsiblefor productssuch asbrokeragestatements,trade confirmation andotherbank, charitable and retirement communications.These products serve as critical touch points for our clients, provide information regarding theiraccountportfolios and transactions. Theyalsoprovide a great opportunity to directly impact the client experience, satisfaction, and loyalty, while supporting the strategic growth of the firm. The team supports all of Schwab’s business enterprises and works with a wide range of internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle and agile practices to build exceptional, scalableand sustainableexperiences 
  • Lead journey mapping exercises and partneracrossproductgroups tounderstandvarious Schwaboffers, solutions and clients
  • Gather product insights for the various product solutions to inform MVP and ongoing featuresin preparation forProgram Increment (PI) planning
  • Create compelling visual layouts, frameworks, summaries and mockups of financial reporting documentsusingdesign thinkingprinciplesto enhance clarity and readability of client reporting documents
  • Perform analysistoprovide insightsintothe customerexperience, cost savings opportunities, client behaviors and competitive market factors
  • Develop business cases and vet new opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively establishing trust and credibility
  • Create and maintain product collateral, internal communication/training, and marketing materials
  • Lead go-to-marketstrategies,stakeholdercommunications,and serve as subject matterexpertforresearchandescalationresolution for client andserviceinquiries
  • Act as a Product and Client Ambassador, ensuring features meet specifications and the team delivers on product and business requirements
  • Work with Oversight and Risk partners to understand and manage to applicable regulations and controls
  • Strong attention to detail as it relates to risk management, governance, and institutionalizing processes

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site 4 days a week in the specified location(s).

What you have


RequiredQualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital product management.   
  • Demonstrated success with defining requirements and launching products in a complex corporate environment.
  • Experience with all facets of product management, including product discovery techniques, design thinking, and Agile development practices. 
  • Experience working with and analyzing complex data sets to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.  
  • Experience producing storytelling decks for socialization and buy-ins. 
  • Able to communicate at the strategic level (strategy/vision) as well as tactical level (status updates), and able to articulate a complex task or analysis to individuals at all levels of the company. 
  • Skilled in working with a cross-functional team, balancing trade-offs and re-prioritization as needed. Strong interpersonal skills, emotional maturity and sounddecision-makingcapabilities.
  • Experience with project planning, dependencies management, and business analysis. Able todefine usecases and business logic within user stories.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Post graduate degree is a plus. 
  • FINRA Series 7 or 99 a plus. 
  • Experience in the financial services industry and/or regulatory communication preferred.
  • Experience with any of the following tools and systems; Confluence, SharePoint, SQL,OpentextExstream, JIRA, IBM Mainframe, Adobe suite. 
  • Experience writing queries and extracting reporting from data warehouses
  • Experience with vendor solutions and engagement a plus.
  • Expert usage of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio 

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
