Client Banking Services (CBS) serves Schwab Bank and Schwab One clients.  As a division of the Client Service & Support (CS&S) organization, our goal is to provide world class service that promotes the firm’s Purpose to “champion every client’s goals with passion and integrity.” We foster an environment of engaged professionals, who inspire client loyalty through understanding and addressing client needs, personalizing every interaction, and valuing all clients and their time. Day-to-day, a CBS Team Manager invests the majority of their time into the coaching and development of their professionals.  By focusing on driving engagement and behavioral based coaching validated by performance metrics, CBS leaders strive to empower their professionals to own their careers and provide World Class Service.

As a Team Manager in CS&S, you will provide leadership, management, and general oversight in Client Banking Services (CBS). You will be responsible for direct leadership of 10 - 12 financial service professionals.

  • Representing Schwab to clients and CS&S/CBS to business partners and vendors.
  • Consistently interacting with professionals to build employee loyalty, knowledge, and skills.

What you have


To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active FINRA Series 7, 63 (or 66) licenses
  • Active FINRA Series 8, or 9 & 10 licenses
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory/management experience in Client Banking Services with demonstrated ability to drive engagement while also delivering performance against key business objectives
  • Demonstrated passion for providing client-centric solutions
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence, build consensus, and effectively drive accountability
  • The individual must possess strong conceptual, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • The candidate will need to be effective at establishing and obtaining commitment to business goals and motivating the team to implement strategies to achieve key business results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of prior industry experience
  • Service delivery and coaching/development
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience working collaboratively with various groups with potentially disparate objectives

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
