At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

As a Senior Manager, Branch Compensation Strategy within Retail Field Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we attract, retain, and support our client-facing sales professionals. This team is focused on enhancing both the employee and client experience by delivering strategic programs, scalable solutions, and data-driven insights that strengthen field performance. In this role, you will partner across HR, Compensation, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Field Leadership to assess current-state compensation practices, identify gaps and opportunities, and develop forward-looking strategies that align with business objectives.

You will lead complex compensation initiatives from ideation through execution—translating business needs into actionable strategies, conducting detailed analyses to inform decision-making, and influencing outcomes through strong stakeholder alignment. This includes contributing to the development of a multi-year compensation roadmap, facilitating cross-functional forums to evaluate escalations and evolving needs, and driving adoption of compensation-related changes across the field. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, comfort navigating ambiguity, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution to deliver meaningful, measurable impact for both employees and the organization.

In this role you will report to a Director in Field Operations.
