As a Senior HR Product Owner, you will play a role in transforming how we deliver value to our employees and business partnersglobally.You willbe responsible forexecuting the vision, roadmap, and delivery ofour HR systemcapabilities and optimization efforts across various platforms.You’llpartner closely with the other members of the product team, HR leadership, Schwab Technology Services (STS), and business stakeholders to ensure solutionssupport talent strategies, enhance employee experience, and scale with the organization’s growth.  

In this role, you lead with empathy for the user and demonstrate a strong understanding of their needs. You are comfortable guiding business and technology teams to look into the future state of HR Technology, translating business needs into clear functional requirements, and applying agile product principles. You also take a holistic view of the end-to-end employee experience and play a key role in shaping what we deliver and why. This roleleveragesyour Product Owner experience and offers the opportunity to focus on strategic impact rather than hands-on development or configuration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a high-performing teamof HR product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with HR and technology stakeholdersto evaluate how best to use HR technology to meet evolving business requirementswithan expandinginternationalpresenceand deliver the best digital employee experience.
  • Assessemerging capabilities, releases, and market trendsto inform strategic decision-making and platform evolution
  • Stay abreast of platform releases and feature previews,proactively assessing impact and championing the adoption of relevant enhancements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiativesby analyzing system performance, gathering user feedback, andoptimizingprocess efficiency.
  • Develop the product roadmap, assess new features, and make recommendations.
  • Drive platform adoption, user experience, and process simplificationby analyzing metrics, employeefeedbackand operational data to improve outcomes
  • Translate complex business needs into actionable deliverables,including technical specifications, epics, and user stories for agile development teams.
  • Collaborate with HR and Schwab Technology Services (STS)to design andmaintainseamless integrations with downstream systems, ensuring data integrity.
  • Manage the backlogand ensure alignment to roadmap. Lead quarterlyand sprintplanning and manage delivery inagileteam.
  • Coordinate releases, testing, change management and communications

*Please Note:  Thisis an in-office role, requiringon-site presence in one of the locations where the role is posted, a minimum of 4 days per week, and offers the flexibility of working remotely onedayperweek.  This policy is subject to change at any time, at the Company's sole discretion.

Required Qualifications

  • Provensuccessas aProduct Manager or Product Ownerdelivering technology solutions
  • Strong experience defining and managingproduct roadmaps, backlogs, and agile delivery practices
  • Demonstrated ability totranslate complex business needs into technical requirements and deliverables
  • Experience partnering acrossbusiness and technology organizationsto drive outcomes
  • Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and navigatecomplex organizational environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in related fieldor equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working withHR technology platforms, such as Workday or similar enterprise systemslikeServiceNowor iCIMS.
  • Exposure tospecific HR domains(e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards,Learning,or Talent Management)including functional knowledge of HR processes
  • Familiarity withsystemconfiguration,integrationsand HR dataarchitecture
  • Experience withvendor/platform evaluation or product lifecycle management
  • Understanding ofconfiguration concepts or implementation practices(hands-on experience notrequired)
  • Familiarity withagile tools(e.g., Jira, ADO, Confluence, Rally,AirFocus)
  • Familiarity withAI-enabled tools, automation, and emerging digital capabilities, with the ability to evaluate practical use cases that improve employee experience, operational efficiency, and product outcomes.
