Payment Product Services plays a critical role in supporting Schwab’s Brokerage and Bank payment products, including VISA, Bill Pay, Account Closures, and Cash Sweep. In this role, you will help deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality operational support while partnering across teams to resolve issues, identify process improvements, and support a strong client and business partner experience.

What you are good at:

• Providing world-class operational service and support for Brokerage and Bank payment products, including VISA, Bill Pay, Account Closures, and Cash Sweep.
• Processing high volumes of operational work with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail while meeting established deadlines.
• Working effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.
• Prioritizing multiple tasks each day while maintaining clear communication with management, peers, and business partners.
• Taking ownership of independent processes while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrating strong risk awareness by following procedures, identifying potential issues, and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Researching and resolving complex or escalated items using sound judgment and available resources.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and support scalable solutions.
• Showing initiative, self-motivation, and curiosity to learn new functions across Payment Product Services.
• Supporting cross-training, peer collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across the team.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Financial Services or Operations experience required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-site business partners, peers, and leadership.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex processes with limited oversight.
• Ability to independently assess situations, apply procedures and policy knowledge, and use sound business judgment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Adaptability to learn and navigate multiple integrated brokerage and banking applications.
• Positive, engaged mindset with a willingness to support team collaboration, training, and shared success.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience supporting process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
• Experience training peers or serving as a subject matter resource.
