The Retail Field Enablement team is responsible for designing and orchestrating the change implementation strategy for cross-channel initiatives impacting Investor Services field audiences which includes the Branch Network (BN), Client Service & Support (CS&S), Schwab Wealth Advisory (SWA) and other Retail client-facing specialty groups.
In this role you will:
The Knowledge Management team within Retail Field Enablement is responsible for creating and implementing content strategies for Schwab’s internal content management system (Knowledge Center) including discovery, planning, analysis, publishing, and governance. Reporting to the Director of Knowledge Management, the Knowledge Management – Sr. Specialist role will focus on creating, reviewing, maintaining, and curating high quality content for Schwab professionals to serve clients. The role requires working cross-functionally with all levels within the Investor Services enterprise, and other Schwab organizations, to ensure client-facing professionals have the information they need to serve clients. In addition, a Sr. Specialist also:
- Reviews and processes Knowledge Management content requests
- Maintains Knowledge Center content based on KC templates, standards, and best practices
- Works with subject matter experts to refine field-facing content prior to publishing
- Manages the Knowledge Center Support mailbox and queue
- Supports Retail Field Enablement (RFE) projects, pulls content inventory requests, and coordinates content publishing
- Performs regular maintenance during the content lifecycle to ensure content is findable, up-to-date, and relevant
- Supports other Knowledge Center and Field Enablement initiatives, at discretion of KM Director
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of financial services experience serving clients
- Excellent written communications skills
- Detail oriented with strong sense of urgency and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of Schwab’s Retail organization and roles
- Strong Microsoft Office skills – specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience navigating and using a knowledge management system (Knowledge Center or something similar)
- Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment involving multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of experience working with content creation or web publishing
- Experience creating knowledge content or work procedures intended for large audiences
- Experience using GenAI tools and agents
- Comfortable leading calls and giving presentations
