Senior Manager, SWA Field Communication and Program Office
Your Opportunity

As a Senior Manager on the SWA Field Enablement & Communications Team (part of the SWA Business Operations & Offer Success Team—BOOST), you will join an agile team that drives change and optimizes business results across Schwab Wealth Advisory (SWA).
This role is responsible for managing and executing internal communications, including leadership messaging, project launches, newsletters, and SharePoint content. You will also lead project intake and develop prioritization recommendations for BOOST leadership. Success in this role requires close partnership across Wealth Advisory, Banking, and Trust Services (WABT), Retail Branch Network, Sales & Business Development, and other Schwab teams to ensure effective communication planning, awareness, and support—especially during high-impact events such as market volatility.
What this person would do
Communications
- Lead, strategize, and execute high-impact communications and “change lite” initiatives that translate complex changes into clear, actionable messaging for leaders, partners, and end users.
- Lead strategic design and implement monthly and quarterly newsletters
- Manage intake, copy edit, and execute daily communications to Schwab Wealth Advisory using MySource and Outlook
- Partner with business stakeholders to shape communication plans, simplify inputs, align timing and channels, and ensure messaging supports strategic priorities.
- Support leadership meetings with strategic programming, coordination of speakers, and content creation for distribution
Program Office
- Manage the intake of new work by gathering requirements, clarifying scope, identifying dependencies and risks, and preparing requests for BOOST leadership to prioritize and assign initiatives
- Maintain and improve SharePoint content, pages, libraries, and governance so stakeholders have an accurate, organized, and user-friendly source of truth.
What you’re good at
- Leading and executing strategic communications that simplify complex initiatives into clear, actionable messaging for leaders, partners, and field teams
- Driving alignment across cross-functional stakeholders (Wealth Advisory, Retail, Corp Affairs, etc.) and quickly building consensus
- Managing ambiguity and competing priorities—bringing structure, clarity, and forward momentum in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
- Translating business needs into compelling narratives for change, while maintaining a strong client-centric mindset
- Applying program and project management discipline to guide teams through uncertainty and manage dependencies, risks, and timelines
What you have
- Proven experience (10+ years; 5+ in financial services) in communications, change management, or project/program management, with strong strategic thinking and execution skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to synthesize complex information into executive-ready materials and present to senior audiences
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge inputs, shape plans, and drive decisions across all levels
- Solid project intake and operational management capabilities, including scoping work, prioritizing initiatives, and managing multiple concurrent efforts
- Hands-on expertise with SharePoint (content management, governance, user experience) and proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; MySource experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment in dynamic environments
