The Wealth Advisory Services organization supports a wide range of services, including business strategy and integration, offer design, offer management and client experience improvement for Schwab’s retail investor wealth solutions and products. To do this, we work with partners and delivery organizations to ensure key processes / interactions are designed and executed smoothly. We also manage tradeoff decisions and priorities to enhance the overall client experience and drive revenue growth. Within the Wealth Advisory, Banking, and Trust Services (WABT), the Schwab Advisor Network® (SAN) team is responsible for end-to-end strategy, offer design, management, and operations of the SAN business.
Brief description of the role: The Senior Manager for Schwab Advisor Network® (SAN), Schwab’s retail full-service discretionary advice offer, is a critical and diverse role. The person in the position will work with key partners in both Investor Services and Advisor Services and have the opportunity to drive the growth and evolution of this important managed investing wealth offer through improvements to the offer. The Senior Manager will serve as an SME for the SAN offer and lead or support multiple initiatives with cross-functional partners from Investor Services, Advisor Services, legal, compliance, marketing, operations and oversight organizations.
What you’ll do:
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and partnership. You will serve as a business owner and project manager for key initiatives that shape the evolution of the Schwab Advisor Network, working cross-functionally across Schwab to drive outcomes, manage complexity, and keep senior leaders informed and aligned.
- Lead & Manage Key Initiatives — Own and drive high-impact projects from inception to completion, coordinating across cross-functional partners including sales, marketing, operations, legal, and compliance to move work forward and deliver results
- Make Decisions & Manage Risk — Act as a business owner on key initiatives, applying sound judgment to make decisions, proactively identify and mitigate risk, and know when to escalate with clear analysis and recommendations
- Manage Multiple Priorities — Balance a dynamic workload across competing priorities with a high sense of urgency, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
- Synthesize & Communicate Up — Distill complex project status, business updates, and key issues into crisp, executive-ready narratives for senior leaders and key stakeholders
- Build Compelling Presentations — Develop clear, visually engaging slides that tell a story, inform decision-making, and keep internal and external audiences aligned
- Analyze Data & Surface Insights — Use Excel and other tools to analyze data and trends, producing actionable insights and recommendations that drive strategic prioritization and business improvement
- Draft & Review Key Documents — Author, review, and maintain critical business documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the SAN offer
- Support Executive Communications — Draft and review external and internal communications related to the SAN offer, ensuring they are on-brand, accurate, and audience-appropriate

Preferred Experience:
- Experience – understanding of end-to-end business practices, program management, and presenting and making balanced decisions based on information gathered
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, Financial Services industry experience; relevant program management, business development, risk management, compliance, supervision experience preferred
- FINRA Series 7 preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF required
