The Senior Manager, CVM role is an individual contributor that provides deep functional expertise, leads complex initiatives across CVM, and partners closely with leaders across the firm. This role supports executive-level initiatives through advanced analysis, strategic communications, and program leadership, with a heightened focus on scale, efficiency, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Translate CVM and enterprise strategies into executable plans, frameworks, and deliverables that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to CVM leadership and key partners by providing data-driven insights, recommendations, and thought leadership.
- Shape clear, compelling narratives using data storytelling techniques to articulate CVM priorities, risks, performance, and progress.
- Build and sustain strong cross-functional networks to drive alignment, resolve complex issues, and influence outcomes across the enterprise.
- Identify trends, emerging risks, performance gaps, and opportunities through quantitative and qualitative analysis to support decision-making and prioritization.
- Actively support the Scale & Efficiency program by representing CVM and identifying cost savings opportunities, standardization efforts, and automation use cases.
- Lead or contribute to initiatives that simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, improve cycle times, and enhance the scalability of CVM operations.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics to enhance vendor management processes, risk insights, operational efficiency, and decision support.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to vendor management.
What you have
- 3-5+ years of experience in vendor management, risk management, operations, strategy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a functional expert, influencing outcomes across multiple teams or departments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience creating executive-level materials and narratives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into business actions.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation, efficiency, or process improvement initiatives.
- Working knowledge of AI, automation, or advanced analytics concepts, with demonstrated curiosity and ability to translate opportunities into practical use cases.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with reporting tools and dashboards preferred.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity while exercising sound judgment.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo constructively.
