The Senior Manager, Client Event Manager role is on the Field & Client Engagement team within the Wealth & Asset Management Solutions (WAMS) organization. The WAMS team is responsible for the distribution and support of proprietary, and certain third-party asset management, products and services to consultants and advisors, across multiple distribution channels. The team also supports the marketing efforts of the solutions, working closely with Offer Management, Product, and Marketing teams.

The role consists of coordination of event strategy with WAMS partners, event communication management and execution, and act as the central contact across cross-functional partners. The individual will shape channel-based experiences, oversee event communications, translate business priorities into engagement plans, and drive continuous improvement through analytics and feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Event & Engagement Strategy

  • Serve as the primary partner to WAMS Distribution Strategy Leaders and Channel Strategists to align events activities with business priorities.
  • Translate channel objectives into scalable event, webcast, and engagement strategies that support growth.
  • Understand audience and purpose to determine messaging approach, desired outcomes, and success measures for events and webcasts.
  • Prioritize event-related requests and engagement activities based on business impact and organizational priorities.
  • Connect event plans to broader WAMS engagement and enablement initiatives.

Event Communications & Delivery

  • Own the end-to-end communications strategy for virtual and in-person events, including invitations, registration, reminders, post-event communications, and reporting.
  • Develop integrated communication plans and audience-focused messaging that drive awareness, engagement, attendance, and follow-through.
  • Manage communication calendars, launch schedules, approvals, and execution timelines to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Partner with Marketing, Event Production Services (EPS), and key stakeholders to coordinate event execution, logistics, attendee experience, and campaign deployment.
  • Lead communications development, compliance reviews, quality assurance, and launch readiness across event initiatives.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across business partners, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and alignment from strategy through execution.

Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Explore expanding success metrics and measurement frameworks for events and engagement initiatives.
  • Analyze attendance, registration, survey, engagement, and communications performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Deliver senior leadership reporting, recommendations, and strategic insights.
  • Use feedback from field, prospect, and client audiences to influence future engagement strategies and event investments.
  • Drive process enhancements that improve scalability, coordination, and business impact.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in event strategy, event marketing, communications, field enablement, marketing, program management, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business objectives into actionable engagement plans.
  • Experience managing event communications, campaigns, event platforms, and marketing workflows.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience partnering with Marketing, Sales, Product, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and navigate complex organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting advisor, retail, wealth management, or financial services organizations.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Cvent, Marketo, SFMC, Workfront, webinar platforms, and related event technologies.
  • Experience building communication strategies and engagement plans that support adoption, behavior change, and business growth.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data and reporting to drive decision-making.
