The Wealth Management Career Pathways team is responsible for developing the next generation of Wealth Management talent. As a Program Manager, Wealth Management Career Pathways, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering development experiences that prepare participants for successful careers within Wealth Management. You'll oversee key aspects of the Wealth Management Academy, including program operations, participant development, curriculum and learning experiences, licensing coordination, and program reporting.

In this role, you'll lead impactful talent initiatives across the Wealth Management Academy, Schwab Intern Academy, and Wealth Management Career Pathways programs. You'll collaborate with business leaders, Talent Acquisition, mentors, coaches, and other stakeholders to create meaningful learning experiences, strengthen internal talent pipelines, and support participants as they build skills, expand networks, and explore career opportunities within Schwab Wealth Advisory.

This position offers the opportunity to influence the future of Wealth Management talent by driving an innovative talent development program, delivering exceptional participant experiences, and leveraging data-driven insights to continuously improve outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to talent readiness, employee engagement, and the long-term growth of Schwab's Wealth Management organization

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Stakeholder Management & Relationship Building skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships, influence key stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across program leaders, business leaders, program participants, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and execute key initiatives without direct authority by gaining stakeholder alignment, driving accountability, and achieving desired business outcomes.
  • 5+ years of experience managing programs, talent development initiatives, learning programs, internships, or career development activities, including planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution that required coordination across multiple teams, business units, or organizational partners.
  • Demonstrated Organizational Effectiveness skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams, maintain program resources, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated Data Analysis and Program Reporting experience using program metrics, participant outcomes, engagement measures, or operational data to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, presentations, or recommendations that translate program data into actionable insights and support leadership decision-making.
  • Demonstrated Adaptability and Flexibility skills, including the ability to adjust priorities, respond to evolving business needs, and successfully manage change across programs and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or leading internship, early career, talent development, learning, or career mobility programs.
  • Experience managing programs, projects, or strategic initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and competing priorities.
  • Experience using reporting, analytics, and program metrics to measure effectiveness, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Financial services industry experience, particularly within Wealth Management, Advice, Client Service, Talent Development, or Recruiting environments.
