The AS Wealth Services Experience Team oversees the strategic vision and product development of wealth solutions for the AS business, including investment, banking, lending, and trading solutions. The team works across the organization to ensure these offers align with AS business priorities and the evolving needs of RIAs and their clients.
The Senior Manager, AS Long/Short Program, will serve as the product and offer manager responsible for learning the end-to-end Long/Short offer and developing the capabilities required to manage it for long-term stability. This role will connect advisor needs and market demand with disciplined product stewardship, operational readiness, risk management, and thoughtful growth.
A critical component of the role is partnering closely with Schwab Investment Platforms, Products and Solutions (SIPPS) to align the Advisor Services client experience with the broader Long/Short product strategy. The Senior Manager will bring the advisor perspective into product decisions and work with SIPPS and enterprise partners to build scalable reporting, controls, governance, and operating standards that protect offer stability while enabling smart, sustainable growth.

- Own the ongoing health and stability of the AS LongShort offer by identifying gaps, prioritizing enhancements, coordinating issue resolution, and maintaining clear product documentation and decision records.
- Build and maintain a practical product roadmap that balances advisor and client needs, market demand, business value, operational capacity, and risk considerations.
- Evaluate market developments and competitor activity to inform the evolution and positioning of the Long/Short offer.
- Engage with AS Sales, AS Service and Advisors, synthesize feedback, and translate recurring needs into clear product requirements, process improvements, education, or roadmap recommendations.
- Partner with SIPPS to translate enterprise product strategy into an effective Advisor Services operating model, including scalable controls, reporting, governance, and capacity-management practices that support responsible growth.
- Create concise updates and recommendations for senior leaders, highlighting performance, decisions, risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
