DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.
Our opportunity:
Reporting to the Director of the Charitable Strategies Group (CSG) at DAFgiving360, the Manager, Operations (Manager) is responsible for maintaining best practices and enacting key operational oversight functions within the team.
The Manager is a key member of CSG, which is the team of experts dedicated to performing due diligence review on, and ultimately to process, illiquid and other complex noncash asset contributions to DAFgiving360, including but not limited to closely held business interests, real estate, restricted stock, life insurance, cryptocurrency, artwork, and other complex gifts, such as those from trusts, estate, and foundations.
As Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring the operational and systems integrity of the Charitable Strategies Group, with support from the Director, you will:
- Ensure the CSG team uses the appropriate systems and documented procedures to enable efficient, compliant operations while mitigating risk.
- Manage systems-operational risks using best practices, while building team capability through standardization of process and cross‑functional trainings.
- Run reports and provide data analysis to help the Director and CSG team make informed decisions and set priorities and objectives,
- Serve as the central operational resource, co-coordinating certain team meetings-offsites, working with key external vendors, and driving initiatives to support consistent execution and scalable operations.
- Perform your role with a risk mitigation mindset, within service level standards.
What you are good at
Maintaining Critical Operational Systems Best Practices:
- Serve as the primary owner and subject‑matter expert on CSG’s operational systems, ensuring they drive efficiency, scalability, and overall compliance with team and organizational standards.
- Act as the central point of contact for CRM updates, enhancements, training, and continuous improvement; maintain data integrity and advocate for system and process enhancements.
- Lead end‑to‑end operational processes for booking and tracking complex and illiquid contributions, including system entry, audit, and coordination with internal partners. Train and maintain appropriate backup coverage.
- Represent CSG as an operational subject‑matter expert in cross‑functional discussions and trainings related to system capabilities, process improvements, and operational enhancements.
- Oversee data retention and knowledge management practices, ensuring CSG documentation, procedures, workflows, and job aids are properly maintained and retained in accordance with policies and procedures.
Experience Coordinating Meetings, Training Others, & Tracking of Objectives
- Lead CSG’s Operations Team, ensuring alignment of priorities, objectives, and execution of operational initiatives.
- Maintain tracking of CSG activities, objectives, and accomplishments to support transparency and accountability.
- Co‑lead planning and execution of CSG offsites to support strategic alignment and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a consultative resource to the CSG team and Director on processes, procedures, and job aids storage and improvement best practices, supporting consistency and operational best practices across the team.
- Facilitate regular Operations Team meetings to coordinate work, track progress, surface risks, and ensure follow‑through on commitments.
- Train internal teams on CSG processes and requirements, reinforcing compliance, consistency, and operational best practices to reduce errors and operational issues.
Reporting and Data Analysis Skills & Other Special Projects, as Assigned:
- Own CSG monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance for Director and team needs.
- Create reports and perform data analysis in response to requests from leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze operational reports to validate the integrity of complex contributions compliance within systems.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for cryptocurrency‑related inquiries to CSG and provide ongoing vendor management support as needed.
- Lead and support special projects, including document remediation work, systems migration issues, process improvements, and operational enhancements aligned with CSG priorities.

- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- High level of ownership, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly responsive and evidenced ability to meet service level standards
- Time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy

Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation
- Knowledge about complex assets gifts
- Training experience with internal teams to improve process and handoffs
