Schwab Advisor Services, a division of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. is the leading provider of custody, trading, technology, and operational support to registered independent advisory firms (RIAs).  In addition to custody services, Schwab Advisor Services provides practice management and consultative support to help independent advisors start, build and grow their businesses.  Advisor Services works with more than 15,000 independent investment advisory firms with ~$1.5 trillion under management. 

What you’ll do:

The Manager, Field Enablement, is an individual contributor position, reporting to the Director, Field Enablement. This person will support the front-line Advisor Services Sales and Service organizations through the management of primary communications channels, development and execution of strategic communications strategies, delivery of real-time communications, and analytics and cross-functional coordination to maximize measurable business impact.

Responsibilities:

This individual’s responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Own and execute content strategies for real-time and critical news and information.

  • Manage digital and live communication channels including evolving channel strategies, content publishing, and working with leaders to finalize meeting agendas and content.

  • Deliver creative and impactful internal communications and enablement strategies and tactics that support strategic initiatives, change efforts, and business priorities.

  • Author internal communications, including MySource articles, emails, organizational announcements, and periodic executive messages on behalf of leaders.

  • Translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging and resources.

  • Define and maintain communications & enablement metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks and work with key business partners to tie to business outcomes.

  • Keen attention to detail, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines consistently while balancing and prioritizing complex projects and deliverables.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confidence, diplomacy, maturity, and business savvy required to effectively facilitate dialogue and decision making

  • Learning agility and passion for continuous learning.

  • Creativity in approach to modern and varied communication methods, including video, audio, visuals, etc.

  • Ability to synthesize and distill large amounts of information with a deep understanding of what constitutes relevant content.

  • Ability to take ownership of solutions, and proactively seek opportunities that will advance business priorities, ensure employees have the information they need to serve clients, and are engaged in our business strategy.

Technical/Functional Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience developing and/or executing a variety of communication strategies – preferably for client-facing employees.

  • Experience developing programs designed to measure success

  • Proficiency in designing visually appealing materials, using tools such as PowerPoint, Word, infographic software, etc. Experience using Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Captivate, or Adobe Illustrator is preferred but not required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
