The Wealth & Asset Management Solutions (WAMS) team is part of the Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) enterprise. The WAMS team is responsible for the distribution and support of proprietary, and certain third-party asset management, products and services to consultants and advisors, across multiple distribution channels.  The team also supports with the marketing efforts of the solutions, working closely with Offer Management, Product, and Marketing teams. We are seeking a Client Analyst within our Institutional Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) sales team.

What You Are Good At

The Client Analyst will partner with WAMS Regional Directors to equip Schwab client-facing professionals, clients, and prospects with timely education, updates, and insights on investment products, including the investment philosophy, strategy, process, and performance of specific offerings. Through this support, the Client Analyst will help drive growth in assets under management across wealth and asset management solutions. Success in this role requires building trusted relationships with consultants and advisors while delivering effective education and support to their clients.

The main job responsibilities are to:

  • Develop a strong understanding of Schwab Asset Management (SAM) investment solutions, philosophies, and positioning.
  • Partner with Regional Directors, Business Development Officers, and Client Service teams to provide financial consultants, clients, and prospects with ongoing support related to investment products and strategies.
  • Build trusted relationships with Schwab financial consultants to support growth of Schwab Asset Management (SAM) offerings.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding Schwab Asset Management (SAM) offerings received from external client sources.
  • Assist with scheduling client meetings and client events.
  • Navigate CRM platforms, including Salesforce, and maintain accurate, up-to-date Salesforce data.

What you have


  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience with wealth management – financial planning and investment planning
  • Understanding of traditional investment styles and vehicles (i.e., separately managed accounts, ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income assets) and investment strategy required.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) required.
  • Excellent client relationship management and marketing/sales skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
