Schwab Advisor Wealth Services is the leading provider of custodial, trading, technology and practice management to registered investment advisor firms. We provide access to sophisticated wealth management services that help advisors attract and retain affluent clients, as well as, profitably grow, compete and succeed in their business efforts. Our Schwab Advisor ProDirect team is dedicated to championing and serving the unique needs of transitioning advisors and their clients.
The Manager, Advisor Transition Services puts the growth and education of these advisors at the center of everything we do. Advisor Transition Managers have a deep expertise and understanding of the industry and this segment, which allows them to provide our advisor clients with the tools and resources to be successful. The successful candidate will play a vital role in evolving the ProDirect offer, by participating in the creation of a unique support model focused on a specific niche of advisors seeking independence.
In this role you will:
- Provide a seamless transition experience for advisors by focusing on platform training and digitally forward operational proficiency
- Work with leadership to provide additional enhancements, training materials, and resources to help our Advisors become digital advocates
- Maintain a strong band of communication between internal business partners, including sales and leadership
- Demonstrate superior understanding of features and benefits of Schwab tools, products, and services in order to encourage adoption and provide scale to the segment
- Facilitate advisor education and training that improves their ability to navigate Schwab systems and processes, reduces rework and improves overall efficiency
- Collaborate with all departments within Advisor Services to provide creative ideas and solutions that will benefit the business and set the strategic direction of the segment
- Be held accountable to achieving advisor training milestones, advisor technology adoption goals and client satisfaction

Required Qualifications:
- Excellent relationship management skills including collaborating, influencing and facilitation. Demonstrated ability to problem solve, interact with individuals at various levels, and think on your feet
- Attributes of an entrepreneurial self-starter and have a proven ability to deliver excellent client service with the ability to anticipate and resolve problems under your own initiative
- Champion of Change Management: ability to pivot and constantly shift focus based on needs of client and technology advancements
- Ability to support positive relationships between the client and Schwab through fostering successful internal partnerships
- Superior communication, presentation, interpersonal and listening skills
- Passion for ideation, professionalism, positivity and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity and teamwork
- In-depth knowledge of Advisor Services products, services, marketing resources, sales materials as well as demonstrated brokerage industry knowledge
- Initiative to create change through process improvements, training and streamlining functions
- Strong analytical and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize business needs and manage time effectively
- Advanced technical skills with team-orientation and the ability to act as a resource for development of the team’s effectiveness. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Client Central, Schwab Advisor Center and Salesforce
- Skill and experience in delivering professional presentations to both large and small groups
- Flexibility to travel for client events on a limited basis
- Minimum of 3 years in Advisor Services
Preferred Qualifications:
- FINRA Series 7, 63/65 licenses (Series 9/10 preferred)
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
