In this role you will:

Advisor Transition Services provides superior transition support to investment advisors who have chosen to custody their client business with Charles Schwab & Co.  Schwab Advisor Services is an industry leader in the independent investment advisor space and is characterized by the following; a passion for service & team; Excellence Commitment to client satisfaction; Creative thinking for problem resolution; Strong desire to succeed and to help others succeed; Initiative & positive can-do attitude.

The Manager, Conversion Consultant helps coordinate transitions for Investment Advisors that will be moving their book of business from their current custodian to Charles Schwab and Co.  The consultant will work with Sales and various internal partners to complete each conversion project. This role is responsible for managing the workflow of multiple conversions, maintaining a strong band of communication between all internal business partners, and providing superior customer service.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent external and internal client communication and strong business writing skills (Required)
  • Execute, follow-up and proactively communicate status of work performed to internal and external business partners. (Required) 
  • Identify potential risk situations for each transition deal. 
  • Must be able to manage own workflow with limited supervision. 
  • Support positive relationships between the client and Schwab through successful internal partnerships (Required).
  • Previous experience with conversions or leading advisors through transitions
  • Strong knowledge of Schwab products, industry regulations, and Advisor Services procedures/practices. 
  • Experience in delivering professional presentations to both large and small groups 
  • Must be proficient in MS Word. Excel, and AS operational/technical functions  
  • Must be flexible and have ability to travel up to 30%
  • Series 7/63

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Series 9/10 (Preferred)

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
