Our Manager – Individual Contributor position provides project, leadership and knowledge support to a team of service professionals who assist RIAs with complex cost basis, tax, corporate action, and statement issues.
In this role you will:
- Work directly with the Team Manager and Leadership Team to execute on the ACT and AS Cost Basis Vision
- Manage RIA inquiries through a mix of inbound and outbound calls, form processing, and answering team email boxes
- Serve as a resource and coach to team members on navigating challenging and unique RIA needs, as well as an escalation point for upset RIAs
- Proactively provide solutions and lead projects to improve processes and build efficiencies
- Serve as the liaison with business partners ensuring AS CBS is aligned with internal partners
- Become a subject matter authority of the team’s primary area of responsibilities and be able to provide next-level client experiences
- Provide accurate and responsive information to assist team members, RIAs, and partners with analysis, research, problem resolution and complex inquires
- Handle escalated RIA issues, including all escalation inboxes, and make sound business decisions while carrying out company policies in accordance with regulations and procedures
- Conduct quality assurance for processing workflow items
- Support the communication and roll out of Organizational and Departmental directives

- 5+ years Customer Service or Operations experience (internships and collegiate activities will be considered)
- Deep understanding and recognition of Advisor Services and risk factors related to Cost Basis, Tax, Reorg and Statements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to condense policies and concepts into clear, concise language
- Problem resolution skills as well as effective collaboration across departments to resolve issues, and the ability to build a consensus and persuade others in a matrixed organization
- Exercise business judgment including the ability to identify business risks and articulate those risks to business partners and all levels of management
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent time and resource management skills
- Passion for service, professionalism, positivity, and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity and teamwork
- Skill and experience in delivering professional presentations to both large and small groups
- Attributes of an entrepreneurial self-starter; and have a proven ability to deliver excellent client service with the ability to anticipate and resolve problems under your own initiative
Preferred Qualifications:
- Series 7, 63 or 66 required. 9 & 10 licenses preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
