Trading Services Business Unit Risk team provides the first line of defense risk management and supervision for all areas of its business. The Senior Manager, Trading Services Business Unit Risk will serve as the supervision and risk partner for the client facing teams in Trading Services (e.g., primarily for Trading Solutions Acquisition and Engagement). The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in an evolving environment, applying regulatory and policy expectations to business activities, and balancing effective challenge with constructive business support.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and document risk-based supervisory reviews across Trading Solutions Acquisition and Engagement activities, including client interactions, electronic communications, lead activity, supervisory alerts, and other assigned reviews.
  • Provide supervisory oversight of sales activity and incentive compensation-related programs, evaluating trends, exceptions, and employee behaviors to identify potential advice, recommendation, disclosure, sales-practice, conduct, incentive, or policy-related concerns and ensure appropriate follow-up, escalation, and remediation.
  • Analyze supervisory results and data to identify emerging risks, outliers, recurring issues, training needs, and opportunities.
  • Facilitate meetings and provide clear reporting, risk insights, and recommendations to business and risk leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted escalation and advisory resource for supervisory questions, policy concerns, complaints, employee conduct matters, and other risk issues.
  • Partner with business leaders and control functions to develop and improve supervisory procedures, documentation standards, metrics, controls, and governance routines.
  • Provide practical guidance, coaching, and effective challenge while reinforcing business leaders’ accountability for day-to-day management and coaching.
  • Support public appearances, education events, training, communications, projects, and business changes by coordinating appropriate review, approval, documentation, and escalation.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready records of supervisory activities, decisions, and issue resolution.
  • Support Internal Audit, Compliance Risk Testing (CRT), regulatory examinations, and other independent review activities by ensuring timely and accurate responses to information requests.
  • Lead special initiatives and provide functional leadership, mentoring, or quality oversight as the supervisory program evolves including cross-training across additional responsibilities in Trading Services Business Unit Risk.
  • 10% travel required
