The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader who is accountable for the flow of value delivery through the program while ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role is responsible for facilitating program-level (a.k.a. Agile Release Train) events, ensuring resolution of impediments/issues/risks, and fostering program-level continuous improvement activities. The RTE is a critical link between multiple agile teams and the Portfolio-level; facilitating collaborative meetings by opening the flow of information to ensure all teams involved in the ART are focused on successful delivery and progress transparency. This position is for the RTE for the Advisor Services Data Delivery (ASDD) ART.

- Facilitating alignment across multiple teams and roles - from Scrum Masters to product managers to system architects. 
- Facilitating PI Planning 
- Promoting cross-team collaboration
- Creating safe space during inspect & adapt workshops 
- Fostering teamwork ensures new ARTs are launched with a culture of trust, collaboration, and ownership of delivery outcomes. 
- Coaching on Scaled Agile practices
- New tool adoption
- Maximizing delivery
- PI Planning Preparation – work with business, product, and technology leadership to ensure that the work that is prioritized for the teams aligns with the enterprise’s (and Schwab’s) strategic goals and that expected outcomes related to those priorities are defined.
- PI Planning – helps ensure that the work the teams commit to aligns with the priorities set by leadership. Encouraging realistic planning and transparency around what can and cannot be achieved within the PI. Facilitating the resolution of any prioritization conflicts.
- ART Sync – monitoring progress towards commitments, ensuring transparency around progress, scope changes and trade-offs, and assisting the teams in clearing risks and roadblocks through escalation.
- ART Demo – facilitating team demos to stakeholders to ensure that what’s being delivered meets their expectations.

Required Qualifications

RTE experience for Advisor Services Data Delivery
6+ years of Project Manager and/or Scrum Master experience, managing multiple large, complex and cross functional projects, with emphasis on product development, systems, and technical environments
Experience with Rally
Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex technology solutions
Executes Agile principles and practices that foster collaboration and enhance iterative development
Leverages advanced expertise to improve advanced benefits management processes
Architects advanced processes to manage risks and regulate modifications per policy
Uncovers complex phenomena through sophisticated data analysis
Fosters ongoing operational excellence by designing processes for organizational capability development
Executes sophisticated processes to efficiently manage interrelated projects and programs
Establishes communication processes for smooth information flow with others involved in a project or effort
Collaborates across teams, facilitates partnerships, and supports cooperative efforts
Provides thought leadership in the business area and independently drives strategic initiatives
Supports a culture of teamwork by promoting cooperation
Manages complex interactions to maintain productive professional relationships
Leverages diverse expertise to develop strategies in cross-functional projects or programs

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
