As a Manager, CS&S Core Service (individual contributor) in Client Service and Support, you will work directly with brokerage clients to deliver exceptional service and assistance walking them through available resources. In addition, in this position, you will be the main point of contact for the team to discuss complex call types, including trading topics. Due to Charles Schwab’s innovative investing approach, you will be able to develop skills both personally and professionally that will enhance the client’s experience while aiding in your career development and the development of your peers. Through your day-to-day interactions, you will build relationships across the firm and through our community with clients, thus strengthening our inclusive culture.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- Active FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.
- Active FINRA Series 8 or Series 9 & 10 licenses.
- Minimum 18 months prior experience of brokerage/financial services industry, preferably in a call center environment.
- Strong track record of performance.
- Consistency providing an exceptional client experience with the ability to anticipate and resolve problems proactively.
- Ability to ask appropriate clarifying questions to clearly understand the clients stated and unstated needs.
- Capacity to work independently while utilizing resources and systems available to provide clients a world class service experience.
- Experience with key Schwab platforms such as ThinkOrSwim, Client Central, Service Desktop, MyQ, CXOne, etc.
- Skillful in de-escalate techniques and experienced in handling difficult client conversations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates will have experience in risk mitigation practices, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to articulate different communication styles when speaking to clients and peers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence and build consensus as well as proven presentation skills.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, integrity, and strong work ethic.
- Collaborative and relationship focused work style with demonstrated success in a team environment and positively influencing others.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
