We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about technology and experiences it can create to join our development team. This is an opportunity to work on an innovative application team delivering tailored client experiences across Schwab client touchpoints, while building reliable, scalable, and advanced solutions to help our clients take ownership of their financial futures. You’ll support complex software design tasks in an agile environment while collaborating across user experience, business, and technology partners. Key Responsibilities

Developing system integrations and capabilities using various technologies in Google Cloud Platform using Java and Terraform. Additionally, you will configure client experiences within the platform to meet the business requirements. As well as, expanding existing use cases and building new use cases to broaden Schwab’s tailored experiences across client touchpoints.

▪ Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues using best practices to support live applications
▪ Prioritizes compliance, security, and scalability of data systems
▪ Executes strategies to restore services promptly and address disruptions
▪ Addresses QA challenges by applying best practices in testing and compliance
▪ Validates requirements and constraints to support effective development and operations
▪ Monitors and addresses security policy violations using best practices
▪ Resolves software design challenges using predictive and adaptive methods
▪ Applies best practices to build, test, and validate software components while resolving issues
▪ Consolidates software changes into secure, stable releases using best practices
▪ Ensures systems align with cloud architectures using modern design methodologies
▪ 3+ years hands-on experience with developing applications in Java
