Schwab is recruiting to hire a driven, results-oriented Business Systems Analyst and Product Owner who shares our passion for technology, innovation, AI-enabled delivery, and business value realization. The Corporate Credit Research Technology Team supports credit risk planning across the corporation and its subsidiaries, including our bank and broker dealers. This role will contribute to Credit analysis, Risk calculation, and Violations reporting capabilities by partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, prioritize enhancements, validate outcomes, and support tools that help business partners analyze risk impacts and maintain compliance.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Experience in financial technology, credit risk, market risk, regulatory reporting, or enterprise risk platforms.
• Experience supporting Credit analysis, Risk calculation, or Violations reporting workflows.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops, documenting process flows, and translating business needs into actionable delivery plans.
• Experience with data validation, reporting analysis, controls, audit support, or operational readiness activities.
• Experience working with engineering teams on APIs, data pipelines, cloud platforms, or enterprise application modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, AI output validation, data privacy, application security, and governance considerations.
• BS/BA in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or an equivalent discipline.

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Analysis and as Product Owner supporting technology delivery.
• Strong ability to elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience managing roadmaps, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlogs, and delivery priorities.
• Ability to partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, QA, and delivery leads to drive shared understanding and execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate business processes, data, risks, and impacts.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
• Comfortable using Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or similar tools to manage requirements, documentation, and delivery tracking.
• Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, reporting concepts, or ability to partner effectively with technical teams on data-driven solutions.
• Understanding risk, controls, compliance, or financial services technology environments.
