In this role as part of the DAFgiving360 Technology team, you’ll design and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade applications that support charitable plan participants and critical risk-management workflows. You’ll partner with engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to modernize critical systems, improve user experiences, strengthen integrations, and enhance platform stability, performance, and resilience.

Knowledge of the Schwab corporation and its subsidiaries, including our bank and broker dealers is vital in the role. Your expertise in Enterprise Architecture/System Design, C#/.NET Core, Artificial Intelligence, Angular/TypeScript, RESTful Services, SQL, and Application Performance & Scalability will be central to delivering secure, high-quality solutions for our donor community.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Expand expertise in enterprise-scale platform modernization, architecture leadership, and charitable calculation services.

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Architecture/System Design, including scalable services, architecture patterns, modern platforms, and working knowledge of Domain Driven Design for the charitable financial application platforms.
• 15+ years experience leveraging .NET to build, modernize, and enhance enterprise applications supporting workflows, reporting and controls while maintaining reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Demonstrated ability to learn, evaluate, and apply Artificial Intelligence technologies and AI-enabled developer tools to enhance engineering productivity, improve software quality, and drive innovation.
• 8+ years of Angular experience in delivering responsive, modern web applications and user experiences that support business-critical workflows.
• Deep experience with Atlassian tools including Confluence and Jira.
• Proven expertise in G360 API, SOAP, and REST to enable secure, scalable integrations across internal and external platforms.
• Strong MongoDB, Oracle, and SQL server skills used to support transaction processing, and backend service integration.
• Demonstrated ability to improve Application Performance & Scalability by optimizing system stability, resilience, availability, and customer experience for time-sensitive calculations, reporting, and analytics workloads at scale.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. High emotional quotient abilities to increase collaboration while fostering a strong team player atmosphere.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience applying Domain Driven Design principles to enterprise application architecture, preferably within charitable, regulatory reporting, or financial domains.
• Experience with modern authentication and authorization frameworks, including OAuth 2, SAML, and JWT.
• Experience implementing web accessibility standards and inclusive user experiences.
• CI/CD experience.
• Experience utilizing test-driven and behavior-driven development approaches to improve software quality.
• Experience participating in Agile and Scrum-based software delivery teams.
• Passion for evaluating emerging technologies and translating innovation into measurable business value.
