Role Description: Lead the organization's Site Reliability Engineering strategy across reliability, observability, automation, and AI-driven operations. Partner with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and product teams to improve platform resiliency, reduce operational risk, and accelerate engineering productivity through modern SRE practices​

What you have

Key Responsibilities:

Reliability & Operational Excellence

• Define and drive enterprise SRE standards, SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and operational maturity.
• Lead reliability improvements for critical platforms through proactive risk identification and remediation.
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement across engineering teams.
• Influence architecture and platform design decisions to improve resiliency, scalability, and recoverability.
  

Observability & AI-Driven Operations

• Establish observability standards for metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
• Drive adoption of OpenTelemetry and modern observability practices across the engineering organization.
• Lead implementation of AI-powered observability, anomaly detection, event correlation, and root cause analysis.
• Define the strategy for applying AI and AIOps to incident response, operational intelligence, and self-healing systems.
  

Automation & Platform Engineering

• Drive automation initiatives that eliminate operational toil and improve service reliability.
• Develop and standardize automation frameworks for infrastructure, deployments, recovery, validation, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed automation, reliability, and operational readiness into the SDLC.
• Improve deployment and operational efficiency through CI/CD and platform engineering best practices.
  

Technical Leadership & Influence

• Serve as the senior technical authority for reliability engineering practices.
• Mentor Senior SREs and engineering teams on observability, automation, and operational excellence.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning application, infrastructure, cloud, and platform teams.
• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Deep expertise in large-scale distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, and production operations.
• Strong experience implementing SRE practices including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, incident management, and reliability engineering.
• Expertise in observability platforms, telemetry, monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Strong software engineering and automation skills using Python, Shell, Terraform, and CI/CD technologies.
• Experience leading organization-wide reliability, operational excellence, or platform transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence technical strategy across multiple engineering organizations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar platforms.
• Experience implementing AI/ML or Generative AI solutions for observability, incident management, and operational automation.
• Experience building self-healing platforms, intelligent automation, and AIOps capabilities.
• Financial services, highly regulated, or mission-critical production environment experience.
• Recognized technical leadership and mentoring experience within SRE or platform engineering organizations
