Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you are empowered to make an impact on your career. Innovative thinking and creative problem solving come together to challenge the status quo and help transform the financial services industry.

Schwab is building a next-generation Product Strategy organization to strengthen how the firm designs, delivers, and monetizes products across Schwab’s brokerage, Schwab Bank, and Schwab Asset Management businesses. The organization is establishing a more integrated and disciplined approach to product strategy, execution, and performance management, with clearer product ownership, stronger cross-business alignment, and more consistent operating processes.

The Senior Portfolio Project Manager will play a key role in translating product strategy into an integrated, transparent, and actionable portfolio of work. This person will lead complex projects and portfolio-management activities, manage product intake and governance processes, develop and maintain product roadmaps, and provide consolidated portfolio reporting to Product Strategy leadership.

This role requires a strong combination of product knowledge, project and program management expertise, portfolio-management discipline, and relationship-management skills. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating across business and technology teams, navigating ambiguity, influencing leadership decisions, and establishing the structure needed to move product initiatives from idea through evaluation, prioritization, delivery, and performance measurement.

  • Facilitate cross-functional reviews and governance forums with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Finance, and key business partners.
  • Promote adoption of portfolio management standards, tools, and best practices.

Portfolio Reporting & Insights

  • Develop and maintain portfolio reporting, executive dashboards, and performance scorecards.
  • Deliver portfolio-level insights on progress, risk exposure, capacity, delivery trends, and strategic outcomes.
  • Ensure data quality, reporting consistency, and transparency across portfolio metrics and KPIs.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to project managers and initiative owners as needed.
