​​​​Portfolio Accounting Digital Utilities (PADU) is looking for a talented technologist with a strong track record of technology-enabled business delivery & a domain/functional knowledge in the area of the financial services/Brokerage industry. PADU is part of the PMT organization. The successful candidate excels in a dynamic and fast-paced Agile environment and is passionate about building high quality scalable software. You should have significant experience in designing, development, testing software systems, providing support to deployed production Applications and enjoy acquiring and sharing your knowledge.   

We are seeking an experienced >net/C# Software Developer with skills and expertise in Financial/brokerage application Development, in this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions that support data load and correction for portfolio performance reporting. ​ 

What you'll do:

  • ​​Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.   
  • Strong software development skills using C# on .net platform.  
  • Staying current with emerging technologies such as AI and mindset to utilize AI & Agents for software development lifecycle  
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, platform teams, Architects and globally distributed cross-domain teams.   
  • Ability to be part of a technical team, providing support and sharing knowledge with peers.    
  • Experienced in Agile software development practices, strong commitment to adhering to project timelines and delivering high-quality results within specified deadlines.   
  • Be self-motivated, driven, and passionate in resolving complex and time-sensitive business problems through simple and innovative technical solutions.    
  • Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team  ​ 

What you have


To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.   
  • 2+ years of development using a Microsoft technology stack, including .NET and C# with exposure to financial industry  
  • 1+ years of experience with containerized platform such as Pivotal Cloud foundry (PCF)   
  • 1+ years of experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases.   
  • Strong experience with object-oriented programming concepts, including algorithms and data structures. Strong experience writing unit and integration tests.  
  • Experience with scripting languages and efficient storage and retrieval techniques  
  • Exposure in Tools such as GitHub, Jira, Rally.  
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or equivalent) to improve productivity, code quality, and development efficiency within the SDLC.  
  • Practical understanding of Generative AI concepts and how to apply them responsibly in day-to-day engineering workflows, including code generation, refactoring, documentation, and test support.   
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in AI-augmented development environments, leveraging AI tools while maintaining strong engineering judgment, code reviews, and quality standards.   
  • Experience applying automation and AI-driven approaches to improve existing systems, workflows, or operational processes.   
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging AI capabilities, tooling, and industry best practices relevant to software development and system modernization.  
  • Some exposure/knowledge of AI & AI based automation (exposure to GitHub Copilot preferred along with some Python skills)   
  • Proven track record of delivering on the design & development of complex, enterprise-level software systems and in providing exemplary support post-deployment/Production Support & Remediation.   
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • ​Experience as a developer on an agile scrum team is a plus. 
  • Experience of using Aerospike database  
  • Experience with Messaging technologies such as kafka/MQ  
  • Hands on experience on AI-DLC methodology
