What you are good at

• BuildingandmaintainingPython-based data and AI/ML pipelines anddeployingthem in GCP

• ImplementingGenAI chatbot features using LLM APIs/models (prompting, retrieval, response formatting, citations)

• Developingbackend services for chatbot workflows (session handling, tool/function calls, API endpoints, logging, session memory, failure handling)

• Buildingor integratingfrontend chatbot UI components (web app integration, streaming responses, error handling, retries, and user feedback hooks)

• Monitoringproduction systems: latency, quality, token/cost usage, failures, and model behavior

• Participatingin code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation

What you have

• 2+ years in software/data/ML engineering role

• Supported at least 1-2 projects in production that include:

• End-to-end pipeline deployment in GCP

• Testing and evaluating AI/ML pipelines

• Frontend and backend development for a GenAI based chatbot or another application, UI integration

• Logging, monitoring, and debugging to resolve reported issues

• Experience working in team workflows (code review, issue tracking, iterative releases)

• Strong Python, C/C#, React with TypeScript, .NET

• Strong GCP hands-on experience: Vertex AI,BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Airflow/Cloud Composer, Cloud Run/GKE, Pub/Sub
• Prompt design and evaluation with LLMs (Gemini preferred)
• Basic understanding of machine learning models and their lifecycle management
• Backend development for AI apps: REST/async APIs, auth basics, logging, testing, error handling
• Frontend basics for chatbot UX (React/JavaScript or equivalent): chat UI, API integration, streaming output handling
• Working experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD
• Building and managing complex data and machine leaning pipelines in GCP
