We are seeking a Software Engineer who is passionate about technology and the experiences it creates to join our Contact Center Technology development team. This is an exciting opportunity to help build innovative, scalable technology solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on development with Java and the Spring Framework
  • Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful web services, and enterprise application development
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, application debugging, and common software design principles
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with automated testing, Git, Bamboo, and CI/CD practices
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD concepts
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks, seek guidance when needed, and work collaboratively within a team
  • Exposure to PCF or another cloud application platform
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ preferred

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain application features using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Build and enhance REST APIs and integrate with existing services
  • Translate business and technical requirements into maintainable solutions with guidance from senior developers and technical leads
  • Write automated unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot application issues
  • Investigate defects, diagnose application issues, and implement fixes
  • Create technical documentation, design diagrams, and API specifications
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and development partners to clarify requirements and deliver quality software
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate progress, dependencies, and blockers
  • Support deployments and production troubleshooting with guidance from the team
  • Learn and apply team standards for secure coding, testing, and maintainable software development
