The Software Development & Engineering Senior Associate is a skilled engineer responsible for operating and enhancing production platforms using modern Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps practices. This role supports critical business services by monitoring application health, responding to production events, and implementing engineering solutions that improve reliability and operational efficiency. The engineer works closely with development teams to ensure applications meet production support requirements and reliability standards. The role contributes to deployment automation, observability improvements, and continuous service optimization efforts. The engineer participates in incident management activities and helps implement corrective actions that improve long-term stability. This position is expected to demonstrate strong technical execution while continuing to broaden expertise in SRE disciplines, cloud technologies, automation, and production operations. Success in this role is measured through reliable service delivery, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement contributions.

•  Monitor production systems and respond to operational alerts and support requests. 
•  Investigate and resolve application reliability, performance, and availability issues. 
•  Support deployment and release activities for web, mobile, and API services. 
•  Implement and maintain monitoring, dashboard, and alerting solutions. 
•  Develop automation scripts and tooling to improve operational efficiency. 
•  Participate in incident response and service restoration activities. 
•  Assist with root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions. 
•  Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance and deployment automation efforts. 
•  Create and maintain operational runbooks and support documentation. 
•  Collect and analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities. 
•  Ensure production systems meet operational support and monitoring requirements. 
•  Participate in on-call support rotations as required. 
•  Support performance, capacity, and resiliency testing initiatives. 
•  Collaborate with software engineers to address production-related concerns. 
•  Follow established SRE, DevOps, security, and operational standards. 
•  Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on reliability and operational maturity

What you have


Required Qualifications

•  Degree or Certification in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
•  4+ years of experience in software engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, application support, or related technical roles.
•  2+ years of experience supporting production applications and services.
•  Experience with application monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes.
•  Experience supporting software deployments and release activities.
•  Experience developing automation scripts or operational tooling.
•  Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment automation.
•  Experience diagnosing and resolving application or infrastructure issues.
•  Familiarity with cloud technologies, distributed systems, or modern application architectures.
•  Understanding of reliability engineering, incident management, and production support fundamentals.
•  Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
•  Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

•  Experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps organization.
•  Experience using observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or similar technologies.
•  Experience supporting containerized environments and orchestration platforms.
•  Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation technologies.
•  Knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, and service reliability measurement practices.
•  Experience supporting mission-critical customer-facing applications.
•  Experienceparticipatingin on-call support rotations.
•  Experience developing dashboards, monitoring solutions, and operational reporting.
•  Familiarity with performance testing, resiliency testing, or capacity analysis.
•  Financial services industry experience.
