The Schwab Investment Products Solutions and Services (SIPSS) FP&A team is a Finance partner that
manages and supports more than $6 trillion of client assets and approximately $3B in revenue, as well
staff and operating expenses.


This role will support the Investment Offers and Solutions (IOS) organization and Digital Investment
Products Platforms, with their goal of maintaining a vibrant client experience while growing a revenue
stream which is vital to Schwab’s overall financial health. This group is responsible for managing our
third-party asset management platforms (Mutual Funds, ETFs, 529s, Structured Products, and
Alternative Investments) and separately managed accounts (Thomas Partners, Windhaven, Wasmer,
Schwab Managed Portfolios, Managed Account Select, USAA Managed Portfolios, and Schwab
Personalized Indexing), as well as Schwab Investment Portfolios (SIP).


• Lead the bi-annual revenue forecasting process and related reporting

• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables are completed accurately and on time
• Drive process improvements across data gathering, reporting, and analysis to increase
efficiency and scalability
• Advance driver-based modeling and financial planning capabilities
• Advise business partners on strategic alternatives, decision implications, and emerging trends
to support informed decision-making
• Partner closely with corporate finance and cross-functional teams to simplify complexity and
remove barriers
• Develop deep expertise in the asset management business and product set to serve as a
trusted thought partner across Schwab
• Partner with the Finance team to develop financial models and business cases that evaluate
strategic opportunities and competitive growth initiatives
• Partner with business leaders to develop annual budgets, deliver quarterly forecast updates,
and support the monthly close process
• Perform ad hoc analyses to assess business performance, product trends, and key P&L drivers
• Develop and deliver clear, concise PowerPoint materials tailored to senior leadership audiences
• Actively support the growth and development of three direct reports
• Support people leaders in driving team engagement, retention, and recruiting efforts

Required Qualifications

• Intellectual curiosity and an inquisitive, problem-solving mindset
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across the business, corporate finance,
and broader team to simplify complexity, remove barriers, and incorporate diverse
perspectives
• Strong self-starter with excellent business judgment and a proactive approach to problem
solving
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver clear, concise
PowerPoint materials tailored to senior leadership audiences
• Strong consulting and influencing skills, with prior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
or as a dedicated analyst within a business unit
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to scope and structure financial analyses and build
models that answer ad hoc business questions efficiently and accurately
• Experience enhancing reporting capabilities through benchmarks, exception-based reporting,
and process improvements to drive greater efficiency
• Ability to foster strong engagement, teamwork, and collaboration across team members and
colleagues
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with a proven ability to identify data anomalies and
resolve issues
• Minimum of 7 years of related financial planning and business analysis experience
• Financial services industry experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
