Schwab Technology Services provides innovative and reliable technology products and services that help shape how clients manage their money. Within AI.x, the Senior Manager, AI Fluency will lead a team responsible for building practical, responsible AI capabilities across Schwab’s workforce.
This highly visible role will define and scale Schwab’s enterprise AI fluency strategy, translating emerging technology into role-based learning, workflow application, and measurable business outcomes. The Senior Manager will establish priorities, develop talent, guide content creation and delivery, and build sustainable operating models that support employees, people leaders, champions, and executives. Success requires strong problem-solving, sound decision-making, and the ability to adapt programs as technology and business needs evolve. Through collaboration with business, technology, enablement, legal, risk, and Responsible AI partners, this leader will help employees use AI confidently, effectively, and responsibly.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in workforce transformation, enterprise enablement, learning, change management, or a related field within large, complex organizations
- Direct people leadership experience, including building, coaching, developing, and managing the performance of high-performing teams
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale programs with executive visibility and measurable business impact
- Experience translating modern AI concepts, tools, capabilities, and limitations into practical workforce applications
- Experience designing and operating scalable enterprise programs or operating models
- Experience advising and influencing senior leaders
- Experience working in regulated environments and applying sound judgment related to risk, trust, governance, and responsible use
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convert complex information into clear, decision-ready recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Experience defining or implementing an enterprise AI fluency, adoption, or workforce enablement strategy
- Experience developing role-based learning, workflow integration, communities of practice, or continuous-learning programs
- Experience establishing program measures and using employee feedback, adoption data, and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement
- Experience partnering across business, technology, enablement, legal, risk, and governance functions
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
