The Treasury Capital Analytics & Reporting team sits within the Treasury department. The team is responsible for consolidating the balance sheet, income statement, producing capital forecast and filing the CCAR FR Y-14A form for Capital Stress Testing (CST). In addition, the team builds and maintains the CCAR data repository and data automation infrastructure, develops the end-to-end analytical and reporting platform, and implements the automat processes to support CST.
This role is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the CCAR data repository and production processes, creating and enhancing automated end-to-end data flows and quality checks, implementing data standards, procedures, and governance oversight and delivering analytic solutions and reporting insights to support regulatory submissions.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data management and analytical roles.
- Strong understanding of data architecture design, data engineering process, and cloud architecture.
- Proficiency with large enterprise databases and programming/automation (SQL, Python); Familiar with data governance (lineage, controls, and documentation).
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experienced in financial reporting; knowledge of Asset Liability Management is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize work and manage multiple competing deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Proactive, collaborative, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.Master’s degree is a plus.
What you'll do:
- Design, develop, and enhance the CCAR data repository; lead the CST data automation development, and streamline CCAR production processes to improve efficiency and operational excellence.
- Standardize data definitions, maintain data mapping and lineage, document data processes operating procedures and provide data governance oversight in alignment with enterprise data policy and CCAR standards.
- Define data quality controls and standards, develop and execute automated quality checks and reconciliations and document governance roles and responsibilities within detailed data workflows.
- Manage and update the CCAR capital model technical white paper to meet Schwab model risk management requirements and standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand key forecast assumptions and data inputs driving CST NIR and capital forecasts, including related system and data dependencies.
- Conduct data analysis to identify issues and ensure the CCAR data integrity and accuracy; Communicate critical issues promptly and drive timely remediation.
- Provide business requirements and implement the end-to-end technical solutions that support large-scale data integration from disparate systems and sources, in compliance with data governance and control standards.
- Apply strong project management skills to partner with Technology on data sourcing, integration, and transformation initiatives.
