DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.

Our opportunity:

Charitable Consulting is responsible for sustainable growth, relationship management, a premium client experience and providing timely, relevant charitable planning education to partners and clients. The Senior Manager of Charitable Consulting Support reports to the Managing Director of Growth and serves as team lead to the Charitable Support Management team. The Charitable Support Management team enables Consultants to focus on building awareness and growth activities by bolstering the onboarding and ongoing engagement experience of advisors, donors and partners with tactical relationship support. This involves effective communication both internally and externally and requires strong business acumen, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, analytical/technical capabilities, and a passion for service.

What you are good at

Premium Client Service Delivery:

  • Dual business channel client onboarding support and complex account set up.
  • Vectoring general inquiry response and delegating accordingly.
  • Resolution oversight of account service-related issues or escalations by leveraging DAFgiving360 systems and ongoing interface with other business units.
  • Providing high touch support and responsiveness for strategic relationships.
  • Collaborating with internal and external business partners, such as the Complex Assets Group, Donor Services and Operations Teams, and Charles Schwab & Co for the best client service experience.
  • Proactive problem solving, seeking efficiency and recommending solutions for scale and risk mitigation in serving complex relationships.
  • Developing relationships with existing clients and onboarding new ones.
  • Welcoming incoming handoffs and referrals to partners as needed and according to procedure.

Consulting Account Management and Support Leadership:

  • Application of strategic organizational priorities and segmentation to identify target partners and clients for prioritized engagement and consulting activities.
  • Optimized meeting preparation and follow-up processes, including agenda creation, reporting, research and collateral distribution.
  • Developing and maintaining business partnerships across Charles Schwab by providing charitable-specific training, reports out on growth with regular cadence of outreach.
  • Salesforce CRM subject matter expert. Monitoring for integrity, entering non-sales related data, updates, generating reports.
  • Oversight of remediation and exception request documentation, related outreach, and reporting. Providing coaching when necessary.
  • Additional account management functions and special projects as needed.

What you have


  • College degree required
  • 5+ years financial services experience required. Schwab experience preferred.
  • Skill and patience with developing others.
  • Advanced understanding of complex account management and service as they relate to investments, philanthropic vehicles and estate planning.
  • Strong client service skills with ability to anticipate and resolve problems with own initiative. 
  • Excellent communication, organization and time-management skills. 
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.
  • Ability to interact effectively within all levels of organization.
  • Highly collaborative, team oriented. Excellence with difficult messages, especially as a coach to others.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter and highly flexible. Able to executive flawlessly, especially under pressure.
  • Relationship oriented. Willing and able to activate connections across the organization and with clients.
  • The good judgment required to carefully accommodate urgent requests from highly valued relationships with complex needs.
  • The ability to escalate or diffuse when needed.
  • Passion for charitable giving and making a difference.
