As a Senior Manager, AI Researcher, you will help responsibly scale client-facing artificial intelligence products by connecting research, product strategy, and risk management. You will partner across Research, Legal, Compliance, Supervision, business risk, and model oversight teams to develop evaluation strategies, benchmarks, guardrails, and monitoring approaches that support model quality, client outcomes, and firm obligations.
You will identify gaps in evaluation coverage, analyze model behavior and failure patterns, and translate findings into clear product, policy, control, and operational recommendations. Through collaborative problem solving and sound decision making, you will guide model updates, product launches, remediation efforts, and roadmap tradeoffs. Your leadership will help establish scalable processes, operating models, and evaluation practices that enable continuous improvement while managing emerging legal, regulatory, compliance, and operational risks.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience applying Model Evaluation, Evaluation Metrics, and Benchmarking to assess artificial intelligence products, controls, or model behavior.
  • Strong Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation skills, with the ability to identify emerging issues and recommend practical, client-focused responses.
  • Experience using Research Analysis and Critical Thinking to interpret monitoring results, evaluation findings, failure patterns, and control effectiveness.
  • Proven Cross-Functional Collaboration skills, including translating complex requirements into actionable recommendations for research, product, legal, compliance, risk, and operational stakeholders.
  • Ability to apply Decision Making and Problem Solving to competing business, client, legal, compliance, and risk priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Artificial Intellidence (AI) products through evaluation, monitoring, validation, guardrail development, or model lifecycle activities.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance, Legal Risk Management, or Ethics & Governance within a regulated industry.
  • Experience shaping Product Strategy or Product Lifecycle Management decisions for client-facing technology.
  • Ability to lead complex initiatives using Project Management, Priority Management, and clear documentation.
  • Demonstrated Influencing Others skills when aligning senior stakeholders, resolving open issues, and promoting scalable responsible-AI practices.
  • Experience developing operating procedures, playbooks, controls, approval processes, or monitoring frameworks that support continuous improvement.

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
