The ComplianceOne Tech Lead leads a coordinated, collaborative approach to continually improve Schwab’s regulatory compliance technology solutions.  Our team is seeking a talented Sr. Manager, Software Development and Engineering Lead, with expertise in integrations (with an emphasis on FINRA registration and filing automation), application architecture, business process automation, and team leadership in a full stack environment.

Required Qualifications

   • BA/BS degree in Computer Science OR related practical experience
    • 3+ years of experience integrating with FINRA APIs, including Composite Branch Dataset, Composite Individual Dataset, and Registration API
    • 7+ years of Appian development experience, with an active Appian Lead (Developer Level 3) Certification
    • Proficiency in creating, consuming, and troubleshooting RESTful services
    • Demonstrated knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles
    • Application performance evaluation and tuning skills
    • Understanding of Agile software development principles, including experience participating in a Scrum-based delivery team
    • Knowledge of authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth 2, SAML, JWT), Proficiency working with SQL based RDBMS (e.g., SQL Server, MySql) and T-SQL

Preferred Qualifications

   • Experience in Microsoft .NET (specifically C#) and other related web technologies
    • SQL experience and familiarity with the Microsoft SQL Server Platform
    • Hands-on familiarity with creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Bamboo, GitLab, AzureDevOps)
    • Hands-on experience with any leading RPA tools; experience with Appian RPA highly desirable
    • Demonstrated ability to lead teams using both onshore & offshore delivery model
    • Experience with message broker and streaming platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
    • Experience with the Atlassian set of tools for Agile project/code management (BitBucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence)
    • Working knowledge of designing and deploying Microservice applications
    • Exposure to container based application deployment environments (e.g., Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, ACS), Experience using Data Lakes, particularly Splunk
